Chardham, a revered expedition to the divine dwellings of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, nestled amidst the majestic peaks of the Himalayas.

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar

Covering a distance of 230 kilometers, the journey from Delhi to Haridwar takes approximately 6-7 hours. Haridwar, a sacred city located on the banks of the Ganges, awaits your arrival. Once you reach, check into your accommodation and enjoy an overnight stay.
Route: Delhi → Ghaziabad → Meerut → Muzaffarnagar → Roorkee → Haridwar

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot

Embark on a scenic journey from Haridwar to Barkot, covering a distance of 210 kilometers. The travel time for this leg of the trip is around 7-8 hours. Barkot, a picturesque town nestled amidst the Himalayas, welcomes you with open arms. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and unwind for the night.
Route: Haridwar → Rishikesh → Narendra Nagar → Chamba → Barkot

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Today, you will travel from Barkot to Yamunotri, the source of the sacred river Yamuna. The distance covered is 36 kilometers by road and a 6-kilometer trek (one side). After reaching Yamunotri, embark on a spiritual journey with a 6-kilometer trek to the temple and offer your prayers. Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Route: Barkot → Hanuman Chatti (start of trek) → Phool Chatti → Janki Chatti → Yamunotri Temple (trek) → Return trek to Barkot

Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi

Covering a distance of 100 kilometers, the journey from Barkot to Uttarkashi takes approximately 4 hours. Uttarkashi, a serene town renowned for its spiritual significance, awaits your arrival. Check into your accommodation upon reaching and spend the night in Uttarkashi.

Route: Barkot → Syanachatti → Uttarkashi

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

From Uttarkashi, embark on a 100-kilometer journey (3-4 hours each side) to Gangotri, the origin of the sacred river Ganges. Explore the temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere. Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Route: Uttarkashi → Gangnani → Harsil → Gangotri (day trip) → Return to Uttarkashi

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

The journey from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi covers a distance of 220 kilometers and takes approximately 8-9 hours. Guptkashi, a tranquil town situated on the way to Kedarnath, awaits your arrival. Check into your accommodation upon reaching and relax for the night.


Route: Uttarkashi → Dharasu → Tehri → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Guptkashi

Day 07: Guptkashi – Phata Helipad – Kedarnath – Guptkashi

Experience a helicopter journey to Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pay your respects at the temple before returning to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Route: Guptkashi → Phata Helipad (by road) → Kedarnath Temple (by helicopter) → Return to Guptkashi

Day 08: Guptkashi – Badrinath

Cover a distance of 215 kms in approximately 7 hours as you travel from Guptkashi to Badrinath, the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival, visit the Badrinath temple and other attractions before checking into your accommodation for the night.

Route: Guptkashi → Chamoli → Joshimath → Badrinath

Day 09: Badrinath – Rudraprayag

Travel 160 kms from Badrinath to Rudraprayag, a significant confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Check into your accommodation upon arrival and spend the night in Rudraprayag.

Route: Badrinath → Joshimath → Chamoli → Pipalkoti → Karnaprayag → Rudraprayag

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh

Journey 140 kms from Rudraprayag to Rishikesh, a spiritual hub on the banks of the Ganges. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and unwind for the night.

Route: Rudraprayag → Devprayag → Kirtinagar → Rishikesh

Day 11: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

Travel 250 kms in 7-8 hours from Rishikesh to Haridwar and then back to Delhi, concluding your Chardham Yatra journey.
